week 30

Here is Week #30 with Reese.

How far along: 30 weeks

How big is baby:  Three pounds and the size of a head of cabbage.

Weight gain:  22 Pounds

Sleep: This week sleeping hasn’t been great, getting up once a night isn’t bad,but the whole huge stomach does make it harder to get comfortable.

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Nothing to report here, just the same old same old.

Movement: He moves ALL THE TIME! In general, it isn’t uncomfortable unless he is really stretching out. My doctor confirmed he is head down so that is always nice to hear.

What I’m loving: How quickly this pregnancy is going. I feel like I always sound like a broken record in these posts, but it really is true. Grant and I keep having to remind ourselves that we will be having another baby soon.

Symptoms: My stomach is huge, and I am getting more and more comments on people asking what I’m having, when I’m due, etc. I’m glad people have still been nice, but I have gotten a few “Bless your heart” comments when they see how close Reese and this baby will be.

What I’m looking forward to: This week was the orientation for Reese to start “School” which is a big transition for us as a family. I’m not having as hard of a time with Reese going as I know this will be great for her, and I’m excited to have some alone time with this baby and me while she is having fun with friends in school, but still a lot of changes and things we all have to adjust to as a family.

Thoughts: I had my Gyno appointment this week, and I’m still measuring two weeks ahead, so either he is tall, I have more fluid, he is bigger, or my belly is just stretching a lot more this pregnancy which is obviously part of it to me if you look at the pictures above.
