Painting the Smelly Closet

by jrwarfield June 16, 2015

One of the smaller DIY projects that I worked on was painting the “smelly” closet as we called it. No matter what we tried it always had a musty smell to it. So, we decided a fresh coat of primer and paint would hopefully do the trick. This is our main linen closet, and so I was really wanting it to be useable!

How to scrape painted popcorn ceilings and baby room update

by jrwarfield June 9, 2015

Our whole house has popcorn ceilings except the closest because who would waste such a high quality texture in a closet?! ;p Our den has painted paneling which was then sprayed with a popcorn texture so that will be fun whenever we try to tackle it. Prepping for Baby – Freezer Meals

by jrwarfield June 2, 2015

So one big thing that I have been trying to ready before the baby comes are freezer meals. We have Gail and my mom coming at different times to come help cook, clean, and hold the baby which will be so helpful. We also have our church making us meals for a small portion of time, but after that Grant and I will be on our own as we adjust to a family of 3. So, I wanted to try and make it so the first few weeks/months we can have a least some meals ready to make that portion easier for us.

Third Trimester Recap

by jrwarfield May 27, 2015

Here is my third trimester recap in pictures. I honestly can’t believe this shirt still fit through this whole pregnancy. If I ever have another baby, I don’t know if that will work. I will probably find a new shirt from the very beginning that has a lot more growing room since they say your stomach gets bigger with a second pregnancy.
