P.F. Chang’s Spicy Chicken Copy Cat

Ever since Grant and I have been married, I have been having him rate recipes on a scale from 1-10.  This is important for us because a typical recipe that I would consider at 7 like Meatloaf , Grant considers a 3. This isn’t because my recipe didn’t taste good, it just isn’t a dish that Grant wants to eat all the time and just helps communication.  Now, homemade pizza on the other hand is a lot higher on the scale, in fact he would want it ever night for dinner if I didn’t want more variety. I have been so blessed in the recipe department because I have so many talented cooks and bakers in Grant’s and my family. But every once in a while, we like to try new recipe some of which are great, other not so much. This recipe is a copy cat of P.F. Chang’s Spicy Chicken, which I would highly recommend if you eat there. I found the recipe here.

Pamela’s Baby Shower

So, here is the third baby shower that I have been able to help host. This shower was for Pamela, and she had helped host over 14+(totally a guess but it seems like every single one). Every one of us was trying to make sure this shower was perfect for her especially since she is into details and just loves to give her time and creative juices to anyone she can. The other fun part is that this shower was held at the same location as the first shower for Ashley that I ever helped host which you can review HERE. So, this shower has a completely different theme than the last one which was a modern “she’s going to pop” theme. For this shower we wanted it to be more shabby chic!

Carly’s Baby Shower

I was lucky enough to be invited to Carly’s baby shower. It was at a restaurant in Austin that is well known and tasty! It was held on a weeknight, and we were all hoping that the baby would wait until after the shower. This is Carly’s fourth baby, and they weren’t going to find out the sex until birth. Mercie June was born on June 1st and was a GIRL! See below for the baby shower pictures!

crepes

As I said before, I LOVE breakfast foods. On Saturdays, is when I make the bigger, better breakfasts like pancakes, waffles, hash browns, fruit salad, breakfast casserole, or Crepes. We love crepes especially those with Nutella or Jams on them. Crepes are actually very simple to make, but a lot of people don’t ever try making them. Grant is amazing and has arm muscles and can actually do the flip them in the pan thing. I have managed that a few times, but find a thin non stick spatula is faster for me.  So, here is how I make Crepes.

Breakfast Sandwiches

I love breakfast food and good breakfasts in the morning. I also prefer things warm over cold. I love oatmeal or breakfast sandwiches or breakfast tacos over cereal. I found this breakfast sandwich recipe online and gave it a try. I loved it and sent the recipe to all family so they could try it to.
