I got to attend my first ever Ladies Retreat with our church. It was Friday night through Saturday around lunch time, and I thought it was wonderful. The planning was well done, they didn’t have us play endless get to know you games, had really good speakers, and the discussion groups were very well split up so you got to meet new people in all different age groups.
The hotel we stayed at.
I got to know some of the young married ladies better, and got to know some other ladies in our church that I hadn’t been able to rub shoulders with yet.
Our room looked similar to this.
The hotel had this really cool 360/needle restaurant, but we didn’t get a chance to try that place, so maybe later Grant and I can make a weekend trip out of it.
One of the local restaurants that we ate lunch at before leaving Florence, AL.
It had a great atmosphere, but it was packed when we were there.
I got their ravioli which was great.
I am so glad that I went, and not to mention see a new city in AL, try a new restaurant, and get to stay at a really nice hotel.
