In September, we flew to Ohio for Grant’s Cousin’s Wedding. It was a very short trip, but it was still a lot of fun. I won’t caption all of these pictures because most are very self explanatory, and just a warning that this post will be very picture heavy so enjoy!
Grant told me to get water at the airport, we normally always bring an empty water bottle and fill it up at the water fountains. This time we forgot, and got to pay $4 for this small bottle of water… I very much doubt it is really from Iceland.
We flew out of Nashville, so we really appreciated that Kira and Andrew were willing to drop us off at the airport! Grant managed to find the only tiny row of seats out in the middle of nowhere while we waited for our flights.
The wedding was on a Friday, and we arrived SUPER late on Wednesday night. So, Thursday we had a little time to kill. So we drove past the house I grew up with in. It was fun driving around and seeing what has changed and what has stayed in the same in areas we grew up in.
We also took Francie, Bryan and Amanda’s dog, for a walk. After that she kept watching us like a hawk to see if we would take her again. Too bad we weren’t there long enough for another walk.
Grant got a love Bath from one of their cats Stella. Grant didn’t grow up with cats so was very concerned at first on what she was doing.
Francie and I are BFFs! I’m always cold by nature so anytime we have visited she and I snuggle, keep warm, and it is a win win.
Quentin is another one of Bryan and Amanda’s Cats. He isn’t a fan of Grant or Gail and tries to bat at them. He and I get along fine since I just ignore him which he seems to really like.
A better picture of Stella. She is a full grown Tortoise Shell cat,but is very petite and really likes Grant. She would scratch at our door sometimes during the night or early morning because she wanted us to let her in. 🙂
Friday was the wedding. Gail made the cake so she drove herself early to make sure set up with it went smoothly. So, Bryan, Amanda, Grant and I all rode together.
Here are all of the pictures of their beautiful Wedding!
The beautiful cake Gail made.
This picture cracked me up of Amanda and I since we both have the exact same expression.
We had to leave right when the dancing started, but we got in a few family pictures.
Grant and I.
Some of Bryan and Amanda who weren’t thrilled with having their picture taken, so were goofing off.
Gail with her two kids.
I loved this picture of all of us!
Then a good one of Ryan, Rick, and Sandi.
After this we spent a little bit more time with Bryan, Amanda, and Gail and flew out the next day to Nashville. Then Kira and Andrew were amazing and had dinner ready for us which Grant ate a TON of. We almost missed our connection in Chicago because our flight from Ohio had been delayed so long that we didn’t have time to eat. After dinner, we drove ourselves home to Huntsville. We had a great time and were so glad we got to come to the wedding and get to see all the family that we don’t get to see very often.
P.S. If you would like any of these pictures in raws or larger files just let me know.
