I am now 35 weeks, so here is my 34 week update.
Check out the week 33 update Here:
How big is baby: Four pounds and fourteen ounces and the size of a cantaloupe or Pineapple.
Weight gain: 20 Pounds
Sleep: I have been sleeping really well when I actually go to bed on time. We have had family in town, and I have stayed up too late chatting, but it was 100% worth it.
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: No real cravings lately just eating random stuff. Peanut butter cups always sound good.
Movement: She is moving a lot lately. I can tell that she is running out of room so if I sit too hunched I get a nice jab in the ribs to sit up straighter or a limb poking out on the right side to give her more room. Also, Sarah and Gail got to feel her move which was awesome. She is still super stubborn and has yet to let Aunt Kira be able to feel her move, but if all else fails Aunt Kira will most likely be one of the first family members to be able to hold her on the outside so I’m sure it will all even out in the end. 🙂
What I’m loving: I loved having family come into town. They were all soo helpful to where I hardly felt like I was hosting, but I will say hosting in a house with more room is a LOT easier than in a cramped condo so that was a huge blessing. I also was able to attend my Huntsville Shower this week, and it was so wonderful! Sarah drove all the way from South Carolina, Gail flew in from Ohio, and the Fleshmans drove from Tennessee. It was so nice to have family at the shower, and so humbling to see all of these people giving us gifts and caring enough about our little one to come to my shower. It was so beautiful, and I will be posting about it and this last weekend very soon.
Symptoms: I have noticed that if I don’t eat often enough I will get light headed or even a slight bit nauseous. So, I guess baby and I are needing a little bit more food. So I’m just trying to eat more often and smaller portions. Also, my feet and ankles swell a little easier now which isn’t very cute to look at. So, I’m on the hunt through our bins for my exercise ball thing to see if sitting on that might lessen the little bit of swelling.
What I’m looking forward to: Now that my shower is concluded there were a few things we were holding off on buying since we weren’t sure if we would get them at the shower or would have gift cards to use. Now I feel like we can get the last minute items and really feel as prepared as we can be for her arrival.
Thoughts: I can’t believe that we will get to meet her soon. Please pray that we can decide on a name!! We honestly don’t have one picked yet, and I hope when we see her we will pick the perfect one for her.
