After most of the week being pretty quiet at my parent’s house, all of my siblings and their families started arriving. Which means chaos, loud chaos.
Preparing food or menu planning.
This was the first time that a lot of my siblings like Tanya met Reese.
There is always something going on when you have this many people together.
This was Mia’s first time playing Hand and Foot with our whole family. She was amazing of course.
Ally was so wonderful and had a blast entertaining Reese.
About to head to Daniel and Sarina’s house for Kathryn’s 1st Birthday Party.
The table setup.
The birthday girl with her Papa.
The bounce house that Reese was too young to go on.
An activity table.
The drinks table.
Raya and Jonathan.
Reese watching all of the festivities.
Julia and Reese.
Alana, I can’t believe how much she has grown up since this picture.
Emi was not thrilled with Grant’s candid photos.
Alana just hated the bounce house as you can see. :p
Andrew giving his awkward smile for Grant.
Where Kathryn hung out most of her party.
To say she was thrilled was an understatement…birds of a feather these two.
Signing Happy Birthday while Sarina lit the candle, and tried to stop Kathryn from touching the flame.
Unfortunately Kathryn managed to touch the flame. 🙁
But apparently cake makes everything better.
Heading home early because nap time is too important.
Time for a walk and park time with the older cousins.
Andrew was kept busy by the swings.
I loved this picture that Grant got of us.
As well as this one, Reese and Kathryn are about six months apart in age.
The Grashams.
The Crews.
Not sure why,but the Fleshmans didn’t get a family picture.
The whole family.
More family pictures where Reese didn’t want to cooperate.
Four generations.
Four generations.
Reese with Uhr Opa and Uhr Oma.
Daniel and two of his kids with Uhr Opa and Uhr Oma.
Reese playing Opa and Oma’s piano.
Trying to wear Reese out before bed.
The chaos that happens when we are all together these days.
Reese slept on her hand during a nap, and this is what her face looked like after.
Opa and Oma waiting for the festivities to begin.
Julia signed up to decorate the table for Thanksgiving since she didn’t have time or the desire to cook.
The dessert table where I made the pies except Raya made the pumpkin pie.
The beautiful table.
So excited when Papa was finally in Houston with us.
Reese at Church on Sunday with Grant.
We had a great time in Houston with family it was loud, messy, chaotic, and a blast.
Our trip home was kind of rocky since they cancelled Reese’s and my flight home since we didn’t take the first portion. So they ended up not having an opening and a HUGE waiting list of standby people as well as only one flight to Huntsville from Houston. So, I ended up having to fly to by myself with Reese again. We flew to Birmingham, AL and had to wait at the airport for 3 hours for Grant to fly to Huntsville, AL and then drive 2 hours to Birmingham to pick us up. We then had to turn right around and drive the 2 hours back home. That portion was the worst, but luckily we were all safe and sound back home.
