I know a lot of people won’t be interested in reading these pregnancy posts which I totally understand. So I will try to keep the same title so it is very easy to skip this post if reading it isn’t interesting to you. I also plan to keep a similar layout each week just so you know what to expect. Grant likes routines so I figured might as well implement it for a few months on the blog too. So I plan to only have one picture per week, and then an update answering the same questions. Since this is the first post however, I will post pictures that we have before 12 weeks as well so just you can see the beginning progression… sorry we skipped week 8.

Grant and I are excited to announce that I will be adding an additional job to my workload. It will be a pretty demanding, time intensive position, but I have heard it will also be rewarding as well. The job’s title is Director of Operations where I will work closely with an associate on a daily basis. I know that I won’t get many breaks or get paid anything at all,but I am very excited about this new challenge, and how it will grow our family.
I thought this was a cool video, of what maybe to come.
Our little associate is due May 18th, 2015. 🙂
Wow! Talk about not blogging for a while! We have had lots of traveling, Grant working overtime, and some much needed vegging sessions. Honestly, I have loved that so far, but I do miss sharing our lives with family that aren’t living close to us. So, in August we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I still cannot believe that we have been married this long. Sometimes Grant and I just look at each other and remind ourselves that we are, in fact married. Since we were such good friends before getting married, sometimes it feels like we are still just great friends still together and still having fun. I really pray that this continues for us! We have been so blessed in our marriage and with everything that God has given us from our families, friends, jobs, and of course each other.
Grant and I don’t buy ice cream much because if we do we eat it. I was really wanting a peanut butter milk shake but was reminded again that no place can compare to the Swenson’s peanut butter milkshake. Since we aren’t in Ohio, we decided to make our own. I can only thank Grant for his pure genius.
We were lucky enough to be able to have my parents come for a visit to Huntsville in the beginning of July. It was a very laid back visit, but we had a lot of fun. We tried one of our favorite restaurants here in Huntsville which is Connor’s Steak House, and my parents stayed at the Westin at Bridge street.
