Our New Mohawk Rug

I have said in previous posts that as of now we are hesitant to buy a lot of things for our condo because in a few years we might move again and have a different configuration of rooms,etc. But I was literally jumping up and down when I found out that I had won a 6’x9′ Smartstrand carpet from Mohawk Flooring. Giveaway I won. We were allowed to pick from 40 different colors HERE, and it was shipped to us for free. It arrived WAY faster than I was expecting, but below are pictures of the process.

Side Tables

Grant and I are very hesitant to make certain purchases that are custom to our condo while renting. Granted there are some things that we always wanted and knew we would make work in any house like our Barcelona chairs,but some thing we are wary of buying in case in won’t fit or work in a later home. I finally decided that we NEEDED some side table lamps in our living room for reading and general lighting since ours wasn’t great, but in order to get table lamps you have to find some you like, which we haven’t yet, and you need something to put them on.

4th of July

So, I have shared everything we have done every weekend except the last weekend in June. This was our first weekend in the whole month not packing or traveling, so we did nothing, and I mean nothing. It was amazing. I literally think we watched at least 2 movies(the first 2 Bourne movies because we had watched the Bourne Legacy the last time at Kira and Andrew’s) and all of the shows that we hadn’t caught up on like So You Think You Can Dance,etc. We also decided that since we had Thursday off it would be cool to spend time with Kira and Andrew again on the 4th.
