I am now 29 weeks, so here is my 28 week update.
Check out the week 27 update Here:
How big is baby: Two pounds 6 ounces and the size of a head of cauliflower. (All of the different apps use different veggies so it could also be the size of a large eggplant.)
Weight gain: 14 Pounds
Sleep: I have been sleeping just fine, but since we have been so busy with house stuff, the amount of sleep hasn’t been as long as it should be. So, lets hope I can catch up here before she decides to show up.
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Nothing too crazy, but eating more since I’m actually hungry, but can only eat so much during an actual sitting.
Movement: She moves a ton now and more often throughout the day so that is a nice little reminder.
What I’m loving: I can’t believe that I’m in the third trimester already, I have to say so far, this pregnancy has flown by which is wonderful!
Symptoms: I have noticed a little bit more discharge in general, getting a sore back at the end of the night after painting and sanding, but I think I would have that even if I weren’t pregnant. I have been feeling a little bit more tired in general, but I think that is because we just haven’t been getting as much sleep as we should since Grant seems just as tired. I have had one calf cramp at night that woke me up which wasn’t fun, but no true complaints.
What I’m NOT looking forward to: This last week we had a snow day, but I was supposed to go to the dentist this last Thursday. I had to get a crown put on a tooth that had a small crack in it, and was super sensitive to cold, but at least it will be feeling better and not bothering me. Well since my appointment got cancelled, I got to do it early this morning so at least it is done. Then in two weeks, I go back to get my final crown put on. This last Friday, I had to get the glucose test, the rhogam shot, and the tdap shot so talk about lots of stuff, but of course it is all 100% worth it. The only flavor for things I despise is fruit punch, and of course for the glucose test, they didn’t give me a flavor option and brought fruit punch. 🙁 But I just chugged it asap so that I could get that taste out of my mouth. Then I had to get my blood drawn, which isn’t fun,but went fine. Then I had to get the tdap shot which also wasn’t fun,but not super painful, but after my arm was sore the whole weekend which I didn’t enjoy since I have been sanding, deglossing, and painting cabinets. Then I got the rhogam shot which honestly, I didn’t feel at all,but was most nervous about so that was nice. I also got my glucose results this morning and they want you to be under 140, and I was at 89 so definitely in the all clear there which is a huge blessing.
Thoughts: We hosted care group last night, so that forced us to really clean our place and boy is it nice to have it feel more like a home rather than a construction site. We are in the middle of a ton of home projects, so I hope we get to painting soon.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I love how you are wearing the same outfit! It really helps to see the growth of the baby! Your pregnancy sounds like a dream. Do you have a name picked out yet? I’m looking forward to being pregnant and I hope my pregnancy is as laid back as yours 🙂 Congrates!
Thanks so much, so far it has been easy going to a point where I feel boring not having many new things to report. I saw another blogger wearing the same shirt, and thought it was a great idea as well, unfortunately, I will grow out of that shirt soon, and the next one I have is a slightly different blue color and no anchors, but that is okay. I wish we had a name picked out! We are hoping to have a few good contenders at least on the way to deliver. 🙂 I hope your pregnancy when it happens is just as laid back!
