So this blog post is mainly to explain that Grant and I will be moving to Huntsville, AL before this month is over.
So, it is time for my next sewing project! My first clothing item that I sewed was my Coat, and the next item I wanted to sew was the Renfrew top. Both of these patterns are from Sewaholic’s Patterns. In this pattern, I actually want to sew all of the versions, but here are my results for the style I wanted to try the most.
Grant and I recently hit the year 4 milestone of marriage. We have been so blessed in many ways by God and have also been taught important lessons. Our Anniversary is on 8/9/2008 so needless to say I am very late on posting this. This is not due to the fact that we don’t see this as important,but we tend to be more private on these things. Grant knows how I feel and he how I, and we are happy with that. Marriage has been amazing so far especially when you don’t feel married but just two great friends together for this time. We have been going to a young married’s class on Wednesdays that has been great asking what we were looking for while dating. We were both hoping to be best friends with someone for a few years before getting married and we are so thrilled and blessed that this was the case with us.
Grant and I really like the coffee table that we bought a few years ago,but it was a child death trap when our nieces came over. The glass just sits on top of the metal sculpture part which means when the girls would hang on one side, the whole glass top would start sliding towards them. Needless to say we wanted something a little bit more sturdy we were wanting something with a little bit of a different look.
I was lucky enough to be picked for another House Party this time for Smirnoff. This is where the company gets advertisement because you use their products, and normally give you their product or coupons to buy them for when you host your party. I have done two other House Parties before that you can read about here House Party #1 & House Party #2. I invited a ton of people but it was last minute and it was on a holiday weekend so we ended up only having two people come but it ended up being the perfect amount.
