So today, I hit week 15,but here is my week 14 update.
See Week 13 Update Here:
How far along: 14 weeks
How big is baby: One and a half ounces and the size of a lemon.
Weight gain: None yet, I think I have even lost a little.
Sleep: Still sleeping on my stomach, and still needing one trip to the bathroom each night. I am also drinking a ton more water so I know that this is part of the reason that I need to go more often.
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: I don’t have an aversion to this per say,but I have realized that baby doesn’t like it. The only times I have thrown up during this whole pregnancy were after I had had a green smoothie, fruit smoothie, or something similar to a slim fast/protein shake. I was wanting to not eat because it gets annoying but still get some calories to hold me over til the next meal… wrong. Baby doesn’t like “meal replacement beverages of any kind,” so I throw them up. So I guess baby likes real food.
Movement: None yet.
What I’m loving: Hearing all the information and advice from ladies in our young marrieds group who either already had a baby or are currently pregnant with their second.
Symptoms: This week I started feeling the round ligament pain, I wouldn’t call it painful as just a stretching sensation. So I made sure to look it up in What to Expect when your Expecting book, and sure enough 14 weeks is when most start to feel them.
What I’m looking forward to: Hopefully finding out the gender this week.
Thoughts: Just keep having to remind myself that I am pregnant because I currently still feel so great which is awesome. I did go through my who closet this week and took out all of the shirts and pants that don’t fit or put too much pressure on my stomach or I am afraid to stretch out into bins for after this pregnancy. I then put away all the clothes that Kira is letting me borrow and the few that I have purchased so far. It is nice having all of that organized. Just working on our baby registries so that we can make them public soon. So many things to consider. We want to have what we need but not a ton of excess since we don’t have room to store it.
Let me know if you have any questions!
